The analyst added that XRPL has delivered over a decade of zero downtime for institutional players. Banks, asset managers, and enterprises have consistently leveraged XRPL’s decentralized, carbon-neutral infrastructure for improved stability and system performance.
In addition, XRPL’s AMM has transformed trading by replacing order books with liquidity pools. To backtrack, XRPL introduced AMM in April to address essential issues within the ledger, per a CNF report.
XRPL’s AMMs enabled quick, efficient trading with prices determined by algorithms instead of intermediaries. By June, the Total Value Locked (TVL) in XRPL’s AMMs exceeded 10 million XRP, underscoring its increasing adoption.
According to Max, XRPL’s AMM transcends beyond its use as a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) tool. He noted that it is designed for institutions that require rapid, low-cost transactions. A Combination of XRPL’s AMM and RLUSD
Fundamentally, XRPL’s AMM employs a Constant Product Formula for price discovery. Liquidity providers deposit two tokens in a predetermined ratio and earn fees based on their contributions. This creates a decentralized, efficient, and permissionless trading ecosystem.
Additionally, XRP Ledger introduces novelties such as “auction mode,” which maximizes arbitrage opportunities. Profits from temporary losses are transferred to liquidity providers, providing fair rewards while maintaining XRPL’s renowned speed and security.
