- Dr. Peterson sees Bitcoin as more preferable to the physical metal Gold.

Bitcoin (BTC) has received praises from several popular personalities. Joining the movement is world-renowned psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson. Last week, the Canadian Professor released a podcast dubbed “Bitcoin: The Future of Money?”.
In this 1.5 hours long episode, Peterson talks in-depth about the physiological, technical, and economic aspects of Bitcoin. Joining him in this discussion are notable Bitcoiners Der Gigi, John Vallis, Robert Breedlove, and Richard James.
During the podcast, Peterson shares his views and his strong understanding of the Bitcoin fundamentals. “It’s a very interesting idea that Bitcoin provides an incorruptible language of value, preferable to gold,” he noted.
Besides, Dr. Peterson also asked some direct and poignant questions regarding Bitcoin to Richard James and Gigi. The renowned psychologist then refined their arguments to his better understanding.
Besides, on several occasions, Peterson agreed to his guests’ point of view. Mentioning several positive points about BTC, he said:
So [Bitcoin] is completely transparent. It’s completely distributed. There’s no centralized authority. It can’t be cracked, It can’t be stolen, It doesn’t inflate, It can’t be inflated. It isn’t subject to any form of overt administrative control.
He also touched down upon some ethical enlightenments that Bitcoin promotes. “The very act of Bitcoin sanctifying the sovereignty of the individual is actually tilting individuals towards doing something good rather than something bad. It’s not just neutral as Gigi was laying out, there’s an intrinsic ethic to Bitcoin that is more likely to tilt it in a positive direction,” he said.
