  • Shiba Inu’s governance token, BONE, sees a surge of 50% in millionaire addresses holding 10 million to 100 million BONE tokens.
  • Shibarium, the blockchain linked to Shiba Inu, witnesses a phenomenal increase in transaction volume, but also faces a scam attack allegedly related to the Pawswap project.

Shiba Inu’s BONE token is making headlines as it experiences an impressive surge in the number of millionaire addresses. According to data from on-chain analytics firm IntoTheBlock, addresses holding between 10 million and 100 million BONE tokens have increased by 50% in the past 30 days.

This particular category of millionaire BONE addresses has also shown the highest monthly growth in balance, rising by 46.53%. This growth trend extends to other address categories as well, with a 4.76% increase in addresses owning 1 million to 10 million BONE and a 16.97% increase in addresses holding between 0 and 10 BONE.

BONE serves as the gas token for the Shiba Inu Layer 2 solution, Shibarium. Shibarium has recently launched successfully, boasting 1,582,853 total transactions, 1,125,138 wallet addresses, and 541,046 total blocks. With the introduction of Shibarium, BONE’s total addresses have reached a new high, currently standing at 192,760.

One key aspect of Shibarium’s operation is the staking of BONE tokens by validators to produce blocks and participate in the Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus. The amount of BONE staked on Shibarium continues to rise, with a total of 26,138,403 BONE tokens currently staked on the network.

However, despite these positive developments, the price of BONE has not fully recovered from significant losses in August, where it closed the month down by 18.36%. Currently trading below $1, BONE has seen a modest gain of 1.95% in the previous 24 hours, reaching $0.95.

In a separate development, Shibarium, the blockchain associated with Shiba Inu, has experienced an extraordinary surge in transaction volume over the past two days. The number of transactions has more than doubled, reaching a staggering 177,050 transactions in the last 24 hours alone. This surge pushed the total number of transactions through the blockchain to an impressive 420,000, marking a significant milestone for the Shiba Inu ecosystem since Shibarium’s full launch at the end of August.

However, amid this remarkable growth, Shibarium has come under attack by scammers allegedly associated with the Pawswap project. These scammers have deceitfully posed as the legitimate PawZone (PAW) project, aiming to defraud unsuspecting blockchain users. This unfortunate turn of events has raised concerns within the Shiba Inu community, emphasizing the need for vigilance amidst both the rapid surge in Shibarium transactions and the presence of scammers.

In conclusion, Shiba Inu’s BONE token is showing promising growth in millionaire addresses, while Shibarium’s explosive transaction growth is accompanied by concerns about a scam attack. These developments continue to shape the landscape of Shiba Inu’s crypto journey, attracting attention from enthusiasts and investors alike.
