  • Shibarium’s mainnet displays a surge in interacting wallet addresses, exceeding 48,000.
  • Despite SHIB ecosystem challenges, over 1,000 new holders joined within a day, totaling 2,400 holders.

The Shiba Inu layer-2 solution, Shibarium, has achieved remarkable figures within two weeks of its mainnet launch. Notably, the interacting wallet addresses on Shibarium’s mainnet have surged significantly. Data from Shibariumscan’s explorer reveals that the number of active wallet addresses on the L2 blockchain has exceeded 48,000, currently at 48,868.

Earlier today, the well-known Shiba Inu influencer SHIB GUY indicated that the wallet count was approximately 47,369. Notably, more than 1,000 addresses have been included in a matter of hours. This rapid increase has led to predictions of a continuous rise to 100,000 within the upcoming days.

Transaction Count and Block Production Success on Shibarium

In addition to the notable increase in active wallet addresses, Shibarium has achieved positive transaction count and block production outcomes. According to Shibariumscan, the total transactions reached 120,494 on the mainnet, and the count of produced blocks has reached 280,835, each with an average block time of five seconds.

Moreover, Shibarium accomplished its highest daily transaction count yesterday, reaching an impressive 100,905 transactions. Less than two weeks after its mainnet launch on August 16, 2023, during the Blockchain Futuristic Conference in Toronto, Canada, Shibarium has reached remarkable milestones. Despite encountering technical challenges that temporarily halted block production, the L2 blockchain has achieved remarkable statistics.

It’s noteworthy that Shibarium has resumed block production following ongoing efforts to enhance scalability. The development team has implemented crucial features to prevent potential technical issues from heavy traffic. These include monitoring and automatic server reset functionalities to mitigate the recurrence of recent technical problems.

With Shibarium’s continued optimal performance, it won’t be long before the mainnet surpasses the testnet record of the blockchain. According to data from Puppyscan, over 17 million wallet addresses have been connected to Shibarium Beta, also known as Puppynet. Additionally, the number of blocks produced on Puppynet has reached 2,219,000, with an average block time of 6.8 seconds.

New investors continue to enter amid the SHIB ecosystem’s struggle against negative sentiments. CryptEye Analytics revealed that almost 1,000 engaged holders have joined the SHIB community within the past day.

The analytical platform states that the overall count of SHIB proprietors has now surpassed 2,400. This underscores substantial community backing for the project despite its unfavorable performance in recent times.
