Shytoshi Kusama, the leader of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community, is known for dropping mysterious hints, and he’s done it once more regarding developments in the ecosystem. This recent clue has sparked even more speculation about the imminent launch of Shibarium.

On the previous day, Kusama utilized X (formerly known as Twitter) to post a basic GIF depicting a ‘greater than’ mathematical symbol. Alongside the GIF was a more captivating statement: “An equation for my math buffs. I won’t ELONgate it: Shib > X.”

Due to its enigmatic nature, the post has captured the interest of the Shiba Inu community. Particularly, some supporters interpret the hashtags “shibarium” and “very soon” as indicative of a connection with the imminent launch of Shibarium.

The message also refers to Elon Musk, who owns X. In response, a critic criticized the Shiba Inu lead developer for not disclosing a precise date for the Shibarium mainnet launch. Kusama countered by urging the critic to focus on the mathematical aspect embedded in the post.

Supporters have already initiated various potential interpretations. Some conjecture that the post might imply a Shibarium launch on August 11, considering that it’s the number immediately succeeding 10 (represented as X in Roman numerals). Others speculate that August 17 could be the date, coinciding with the day after the Blockchain Futurist Conference.

Speculations Surrounding August’s Partnership

Yet, preceding this post, Kusama revealed in the official Shibarium community Telegram group that the SHIB ecosystem is on the verge of forming three additional partnerships. As per his explanation, the first revolves around dry ink, the second, anticipated for August, centers on technology, and the third is cause for celebration. Kusama went on to comment: “One more thing. An equation: Shib > X.” 

Additionally, within the Shibarium Discord server, the head developer highlighted that, through Shibarium, the development team will elucidate how Shiba Inu surpasses X or any asset that requires iris scans (possibly referring to Worldcoin). He pointed out that the vibrant community is Shiba Inu’s secret ingredient.

The recent series of announcements suggests that an important update is imminent. In response to the post on X, Lucie, a prominent figure within the SHIB community, suggested that the Shiba Inu project might introduce a fresh element to the equation.

Notably, within the Discord server, Kusama also urged the community to anticipate forthcoming updates and new partnerships. Additionally, he mentioned that the team is preparing to release a new guidebook. The developer confirmed his current work on the Worldpaper, underscoring that the community is already closely linked to Shibarium. 

Nevertheless, the connection between these recent hints and the Shibarium launch is yet to be confirmed at the time of this press. Community members have maintained their speculations in light of the numerous teasers provided.
