  • Shiba Inu records exponential growth in companies that support it as a payment option.
  • Shiba Inu is still bearish after falling by 11 percent in the last seven days.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has transcended the “meme” tag to enter the categories of cryptos with real-world utility and technological breakthroughs. According to a blog post, SHIB has operated as a medium of exchange since BitPay announced its support for the asset in late 2021. Hundreds of companies have reportedly announced their acceptance of Shiba Inu as a payment method.

The post explains four ways to spend crypto with companies that accept SHIB as payment. The first option is to spend directly with the company. The second option is to turn it into cash using the BitPay crypto card. The third is to buy gift cards using Shiba Inu and the fourth is to make P2P transactions directly from the SHIB wallet.

If you want to send crypto to a friend or you know the wallet information of a company that accepts Shiba Inu Coin, you use a P2P (Peer to Peer) transaction. Sending P2P Shiba Inu Coin payments from the BitPay Wallet is safe, easy, and fast.

Some of the companies that accept Shiba Inu as payment options

Newegg, a computers, electronics, and accessories shop announced its support for SHIB with a billboard in Los Angeles. Gucci, one of the biggest luxury brands also allows users to spend SHIB in 70 percent of its retail shops. Twitch has also integrated a feature to enable streamers to receive donations in the meme coin.

HOSKEY has announced that users who wish to use its dedicated server hosting and private web hosting services can make payments in SHIB. At APMEX, customers can buy gold, silver, and other precious metals with the token.

The Carolina Hurricanes NHL team enables fans to shop gear with SHIB. Also, The Sacramento Kings (NBA) and Dallas Mavericks (NBA) accept Shib in their shops. Shib is also accepted in exchange for movie tickets at AMC Theatres. At Jomashop, the token is accepted in exchange for luxury watches and high-fashion accessories. At Menufy, customers can use the token to buy from any local and chain restaurant. As part of the several cryptos accepted for donations, the American Cancer Society also supports Shiba Inu. At SlingTV, people can use the meme coin as payment to watch their favorite TV shows.

One major online platform that does not currently accepts Shiba Inu is Amazon according to the blog post.

Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t accept any direct crypto payments at this time. However, spending your SHIB gains via the BitPay Card is as easy as using any other payment on Amazon. Simply load the card with your SHIB and use the BitPay Mastercard like you would any other debit card.

SHIB is currently trading at $0.000009 after falling by 11.3 percent in the last seven days. In the last 30 days, SHIB is down by 18 percent, and also down by 37 percent in the last 90 days.
