  • The Shiba Inu team has announced that there is a new shib.io website, debuting a new and improved Shib the metaverse branding.
  • There was a mistake with Shibarium Beta chain ID, the Shiba Inu developer also revealed.

The Shiba Inu ecosystem has recorded significant growth with some of its major projects and has most recently decided to create a new and fresh experience for its website users. The introduction of a new website to the public has sparked optimism among the SHIB community.

In a recent tweet, the Shiba Inu official Twitter handle Shibtoken, told its 3.6 million followers that a new Shib.io website is live. Additionally, it was revealed that there was a new Shiba Inu the metaverse branding that came with the site. Expectedly, the WAGMI Template Alpha is also previewed on the site. Users of the website can carry out purchases of Shiba Inu the metaverse lands with ease, by using a buy system and making a few clicks that showcase the map of the lands.

In total, there are 100,595 lines that will be unlocked in the long term, while only 36,431 will be unlocked and made accessible to users during the first introductory phase, and a total of 32,124 to be made available for purchase.

Shib.io details the process of land purchases for users on the website

Users can click on the top menu, which opens a window showing the reserved and acquired lands that can be seen on the “land owned“ box. Users will then be able to mint a single land, or multiple lands at once, and bypass multiple transactions, so as to avoid users paying multiple gas fees.

In order for interested users to take part in the land bidding or purchasing process, they must set up and use a MetaMask wallet, as the wallet is the only functioning wallet that has been confirmed to operate on the portal. In order to acquire lands, land bids, as well as purchases, must be made using Ethereum (ETH).

Shiba Inu code error

Meanwhile, the Shiba Inu community is also going through some community-centered chaos, as Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya recently admitted to making a mistake with the Shibarium Beta chain ID.

The Shibarium chain was said to be sharing a Chain ID number, 917, which is the same as the Rinia Testnet chain. Kaaldhairya, one of Shiba’s developer admitted to making a “mistake to not recheck when the puppynet network was launched,” after few chains picked an ID at random. He went on to add that they will be “redeploying a new version of BETA network with a new chain ID.”

“Both Rinia TestNet and Shibarium copied open source code for their block explorers called Blockscout and likely both were lazy in their implementation,” said Andrew Angrisani, a member of the project’s Telegram community.
