- Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, hinted at a major decentralized project that could involve “shadow cats.”
- While the specifics of the project are yet to be confirmed, it may involve Shiba Identity. Additionally, the Shiba Ecosystem’s marketing specialist hinted at a new feature for ShibaSwap 2.0. SHIB.
Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer behind the dog-themed cryptocurrency Shiba Inu, posted a new message over the weekend, hinting at a potentially large-scale decentralized project that may involve “shadow cats.”
Following the recent launch of the Shiba Name Service (SNS) and addressing concerns related to Shiba Burns, the lead developer remained committed to their promise and appeared ready to usher in a new era of Shibarium, emphasizing not only decentralization but also unity.
In a “call all” message, Kusama acknowledged one of the challenges of decentralization, which is the difficulty of collaborating with influencers. The lead developer reassured the crypto community that this issue will be addressed, aiming to unite the efforts of everyone, including shadow cats and detractors. In a message on social media platform X, Kusama wrote:
One issue about being decentralized is being unable to contact or work with so many incredible influencers who have Shib media across MANY channels. I am here to change that and unify our efforts.
The lead developer of the Shiba Ecosystem also urged those who were keen on their initiative to verify their control over the official Shib account and furnish their contact details.
“Should you oversee Shib-related media platforms, please reply here. This includes individuals associated with shadowcats,” remarked Kusama, followed by, “In unity, we create entertainment. I kindly request that you confirm your access to the Shib-branded account, and provide essential contact information, and additional instructions will be provided shortly.”
Future Developments in Shiba Inu
Kusama’s post didn’t explicitly detail an initiative, but their phrasing strongly hinted at ongoing developments. From the tweet, it appears that the upcoming endeavor may involve Shiba Identity, as it requested interested parties to provide basic contact information.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed at this stage, it’s important to mention that last week, the Shiba Ecosystem’s marketing specialist, who goes by the handle @LucieSHIB on X, teased the potential addition of a new feature to ShibaSwap 2.0, the decentralized exchange platform within the Shiba Ecosystem, expected to be revealed next week.
Shibaswap 2.0 is more than just a regular DEX; it's a complete portal experience.
As for why it can't be produced like other DEXs in week, it involves intricate development and features.
Additionally, Shiba Name Service is one of our pioneering features.
Next week coming…
