Shiba Inu Celebrates Two Years of Network Development and Game-Changing Collaborations – SHIB Poised Breakout Ahead of Shibarium Launch

Shiba Inu Development Progress and Strategic Partnerships

Despite the falling price of SHIB in the bearish crypto market since 2021, the Shiba Inu development team has been actively working on building and establishing strategic partnerships for the community-driven project. Lucie, a prominent community influencer, highlighted these positive developments, sparking excitement. 

Led by Shytoshi Kusama, the Shiba Inu team has been dedicated to various ecosystem projects and collaborations since the Summer of 2021, positioning the project for further growth and adoption.

To promote the utility of SHIB and drive its adoption, the team introduced Shiboshis in October 2021. Shiboshis is a collection of 10,000 unique non-fungible tokens (NFTs) built on the Ethereum blockchain. The sale of these tokens was a huge success, as they sold out within just 34 minutes of their launch. 

Each Shiboshis NFT is distinct from others, showcasing unique accessories, capabilities, headwear, and clothes. This milestone marked Shiba Inu’s entry into the world of web3 and NFTs.

BONE and Doggy DAO: Enhancing the Shiba Inu Ecosystem

The introduction of BONE as the gas token for Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s layer-2 scaling solution, took place in January 2022, along with the launch of Doggy DAO, granting voting rights to community members.

In February 2022, the official release of Doggy DAO Phase 1, also known as DAO 1 on ShibaSwap, was announced. During the same month, Shiba Inu established a strategic partnership with Welly and collaborated with John Richmond. In April 2022, SHIB: The Metaverse project brought Shiba Inu into the metaverse space.

In August 2022, Shiba Eternity underwent public testing in Indonesia and was fully launched in November 2022. The development continued with the Wagmi temple and Metaverse website rollout shortly after Shiba Eternity’s release.

Recent Developments in 2023

It is worth mentioning that 2023 has seen further positive advancements. As pointed out by Lucie, Shytoshi Kusama established the Shibarium Discord channel in March 2023 to foster enhanced community engagement. Subsequently, Shiba Inu formed several valuable partnerships with projects such as Tangem Wallets, Vodka, and Rocknroll.

A notable addition to the ecosystem was the collaboration with Bad Idea AI in July 2023, making them the latest official partner of the project. However, the most recent milestone in the ecosystem is the launch of Shibarium Beta Bridge, a crucial step towards the upcoming mainnet launch of Shibarium. According to reports, the L2 solution will go live in August during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto.

Summer of Shibarium: Strategic Releases and Updates

Earlier this week, “LUCIE” tweeted, “We are cooking something,” urging community members to subscribe to the new channel. Since the Monday announcement, the channel’s subscribers have surged from approximately 500 to nearly 2,500 as of press time.

The channel contains five concise videos that explain various concepts, such as “Shibarium Basic Information” and “Shibarium Technology L2 with $BONE as gas fee token.” Additionally, a fourth video provides a more detailed understanding of Shibarium’s workings. While not revealing much about the channel, the community eagerly anticipates the development, as it suggests potential insights into the upcoming Shibarium launch.

This enigmatic announcement aligns with previous commitments made by Shytoshi Kusama, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, who introduced the Summer of Shibarium, ensuring the community of strategic releases and updates in the pipeline. These efforts are paving the way for the highly anticipated mainnet launch of Shibarium, scheduled during the forthcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in August.

Lucie’s previous confirmation about several projects joining the Shiba Inu ecosystem upon integrating the L2 scaling solution into the mainnet has further boosted the community’s optimism. The project’s team expects these upcoming developments to expand the ecosystem beyond its tokens like SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.
