  • The Joint L1 Task Force has successfully concluded the V2.0.1 upgrade and is now preparing for future upcoming upgrades.
  • LuncBurnArmy, an L1 development team project manager, has revealed that a 5 percent minimum validator commission fee has already been developed.

The Joint L1 Task Force, the developer team working on Terra Classic LUNC has carried out one of the most significant network upgrades. The developers successfully rounded up the V2.0.1 upgrade this May and are now preparing for future upcoming upgrades

Notably, Version 2.1.0 is at the center of the core developer group. In addition, the CosmWasm rehearsal testnet upgrade along with the migration progress, is next in line.

The CosmWasm v2.1.0 parity upgrade is one of the most important key players in the Terra Classic community, as it is primed to push the LUNC asset to a $1 price point. The upgrade will make it possible for Terra Classic to move in parity with other blockchains like Tera 2.0 and Cosmos.

With the upgrade comes a variety of new futures and functionality that is poised to enhance the blockchain. The upgrade will not only bring back utility but also bring back Edward Kim’s AI app chain.

Taking to Twitter, LuncBurnArmy, the L1 development team manager detailed the next steps for developers. His status update contains the next steps for the second quarter of the sprint at different locations.

Meanwhile, the upgrade for Parity is expected to follow right after. LuncBurnArmy revealed that the upgrade for parity has been scheduled for June 14th as a firm date.

It is also worth noting that a 5 percent minimum validator commission fee has been created and is still in the works. The network developers are looking to make the inclusion in the 2.1.0 version. LuncBurnArmy added;

The 5% minimum validator commission fee has been developed, is currently undergoing testing, and we are targeting inclusion in v2.1.0 on June 14th.

According to our data, Terra Classic (LUNC) is currently trading at a press time price of $0.000087.
