  • Leading U.S. based fashion company Ralph Lauren, has taken to Twitter to announce that it has integrated Polygon, in cooperation with BitPay as payment option on its platform. 
  • The fashion brand will partner with Poolsuite to gift NFTs to all its 3,000 customers. Customers will also gain exclusive access to a party at a  private waterfront in Miami estate. 

Ralph Lauren broke the news to its 2.3 million Twitter followers. In an announcement tweet, the company introduced the new RLMiami store. Located in Miami Florida, Ralph Lauren’s new Miami Design District store is focusing on South Florida culture.

The store will accept crypto payments from its customer base going forward. The RL Miami Design District store is the first Ralph Lauren store to accept cryptocurrencies. Ralph Lauren worte on Twitter.

Introducing our new RLMiami store, the first Ralph Lauren store to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment. In partnership with BitPay, customers can make purchases with different cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin , Ethereum and MATIC by 0xPolygonLabs and more.

The store will accept purchases in crypto using the payment service platform Bitpay. At the initial stage, only Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Polygon (MATIC) will be accepted.

Should a customer seek a refund, the store will revert funds in the same digital currency initially used by the client. The said currency will be equivalent to U.S. dollars. It is worth noting that refunds will be subject to change due to market volatility.

All 3,000 Poolsuite customers will receive NFT gifts, thanks to Ralph Lauren’s partnership with the NFT community

Additionally, Ralph Lauren will also partner with Poolsuite, which has a fitting NFT-gated membership that compliments the typical Miami lifestyle. The partnership will allow the brand to gift all 3,000 Poolsuite to its community members.

The NFTs will go on to unlock access to a party held at a private waterfront in Miami estate. This is part of the three-day launch event that will take place later part of April.

Poolsuite is a Web3 community, that seeks to enable leisure online and offline. The firm centers its goal around bringing individuals onchain using Web3 technology. With the aid of Poolsuite, Ralph Lauren will gift Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to its customers.

David Lauren, the chief branding and innovation officer, spoke about Ralph Lauren’s recent move. He emphasized that storytelling has also been at the core of the brand. He noted that Miami’s is a great canvas to help push the brand to a newer generation of customers.

“Ralph Lauren has always been about captivating storytelling and creating enchanting worlds that bring the brand to life. Miami’s vibrant and glamorous spirit” is an inspiring canvas to showcase the brand for “a new generation of customers in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.” David Lauren remarked.
