  • Instarem integrates Apple Pay with its Amaze card, enhancing convenience for contactless payments and cross-border transactions.
  • Ripple’s XRPL expands to support NFTs, smart contracts, and DEX, pushing broader blockchain adoption and innovation.

Instarem, a Ripple partner, has made a huge step forward by integrating Apple Pay with its Amaze card. Users may now make contactless payments using their iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, which adds ease and security to their transactions.

This interface allows Amaze cardholders to travel without the need for physical cards, making it easier to manage their accounts while on the go.

Furthermore, the Amaze card accepts several currencies, which, when combined with Ripple’s efficient payment infrastructure, allows users to conduct smoother cross-border transactions at better exchange rates.

Streamlining Global Payments with Ripple Real-Time Network

Instarem’s adoption of Apple Pay is more than just convenience; it is part of a larger goal to simplify Treasury operations and improve the overall user experience for its global customers.

Instarem uses Ripple’s real-time payment network to ensure faster, more reliable cross-border transfers, allowing customers to skip the time-consuming processes and expensive fees associated with traditional banking.

This collaboration highlights how Ripple’s technology integrates smoothly with ordinary financial instruments, providing practical answers to modern consumers.

Aside from this latest advancement, Ripple’s ecosystem continues to grow in other important areas. In South Korea, for example, the platform Surfy has enabled local cafés to accept XRP payments via QR codes.

According to CNF, this functionality enables rapid, frictionless transactions, demonstrating Ripple’s grassroots adoption in a variety of markets. The ability to pay with XRP via QR codes not only increases Ripple’s footprint in retail contexts, but it also demonstrates the use of cryptocurrencies in everyday business.

Ripple’s objectives, however, go far beyond basic payment solutions. The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is currently being expanded to add support for NFTs, smart contracts, and decentralized exchanges (DEX), which will further enrich its ecosystem.

These XRPL improvements are critical for increasing the adoption of Ripple’s blockchain solutions and bringing more developers, businesses, and consumers to its platform.

Participation in significant industry discussions, particularly those involving the convergence of decentralized finance (DeFi) and regulation, further demonstrates Ripple’s significance in the blockchain sector.

Meanwhile, as we previously reported, at this year’s Point Zero Forum, Ripple collaborated with TRM Labs and Circle to discuss DeFi governance and how regulators may strike a balance between encouraging innovation and guaranteeing compliance.

The summit brought together global regulators, central banks, policymakers, and business executives to discuss the future of finance, investing, and technology.
