• Justin Sun celebrated the success of the TRON dapps on the Samsung Galaxy Store after they were featured on the platform’s cover. 
• Tether circulation on the TRON blockchain exceeds 1.9 billion.

Justin Sun celebrated through his Twitter account the adoption and success of TRON dapps on the Samsung Galaxy Store. After their inclusion at the end of April, TRON dApps seem to have a good acceptance. As published by Sun, the dApps were part of the Samsung Galaxy Store cover as featured applications.

In October 2019, Sun caused excitement by announcing a cooperation with Samsung. The cooperation is valued at 100 billion dollars and allows Samsung users to have direct access to the TRON blockchain through their devices. In that sense, users can download all TRON-based dapps in an exclusive section within the Galaxy Store.

The success of this cooperation, Sun said in the announcement, will boost user numbers and cause the TRON ecosystem to evolve. In addition, as one TRON user suggested, the platform could form new partnerships with other major industry players such as Chinese technology giant Huawei. Considering that Sun has ties to China, cooperation between these entities is at least a possibility.

Samsung has been recognized for incorporating crypto-based use cases into its products. In February of this year, it was revealed that the Galaxy S20 would have a built-in wallet that allows Samsung’s nearly one billion users to manage Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and TRON (TRX).

Tether exceeds 1.9 billion on TRON

Sun further reportedthat the amount of the stablecoin Tether circulating supply in the TRON network exceeded 1.9 billion. Since its launch on TRON, the stablecoin (USDT) based on this platform has surpassed platforms like Omni in the issuance of Tether.

The supply of the stablecoin on TRON has increased by nearly 200 million USDT in less than a week, according to Sun. The TRON CEO said the following, celebrating the achievement of the stablecoin and TRON:

Finally, Sun made an update on the BitTorrent File Exchange System (BTFS). Created as part of the cooperation between TRON and the DLive streaming platform, the development of the BTFS reached 3 major milestones in its development:

Finished core logic to calculate suitable repair nodes based on geo information from Hub
