Holger Köther and Regine Haschka-Helmer, who were part of the former adoption team of IOTA, are behind building BUILD.5. They have joined hands with SoonLabs in building this exciting new platform.

During the initial minting, only $SOON token holders will receive $BUILD tokens. There won’t be a token sale or launchpad for the $BUILD token.

The $BUILD token represents the collective effort of the Founding team and will not be duplicated or used in any other project. Here’s how the $BUILD token distribution and usage will work:

  • 20 million $BUILD tokens will be airdropped to $SOON token holders. Currently, there are approximately 18.5 million $SOON tokens in circulation. So, for every 1 $SOON token held, there will be an airdrop of around 1.1 $BUILD tokens.
  • However, this ratio will change as $SOON staking rewards are distributed before the mainnet Stardust update and the subsequent minting of the $BUILD token.
