Tangle Community Treasury Funds TCT-6: IOTA for Flutter

The Tangle Community Treasury has approved and initially funded TCT-6: IOTA for Flutter, a project that aims to provide community developers with a uniform setup to create different types of apps based on one code base. Flutter is a popular cross-platform mobile framework that overtook React Native in popularity in 2021.

Kai, the project leader, has over 25 years of experience in various areas of software development and has broken down his grant proposal into 50 work breakdown steps, showing deliverables, time, and costs. The committee was impressed with his detailed and outstanding application, which can be viewed publicly along with the budget breakdown on Google Drive.

Kai’s proposal has been approved for a grant of $14,262, and the committee is looking forward to seeing IOTA and Shimmer applications being built on mobile apps. This funding and support from the Tangle Community Treasury will enable developers to build on Flutter more easily and efficiently, and could help promote wider adoption of IOTA and Shimmer technologies.
