- Hedera has partnered with Google for the Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready programme on its Build with AI series.
- Developers in its series will earn 35 monthly learning credits on Google Skills, connect with Google developer experts and benefit from structured AI learning paths.
Hedera has announced a new partnership with Google that gives developers in its Build with AI series access to some of the search giant’s cutting-edge AI tools and services.
Hedera announced that it’s now working with Google on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready (GEAR) programme for the Build with AI series. GEAR enables developers to build and deploy enterprise-grade agents using Google’s AI. The programme is Google’s way of competing with rivals Microsoft and Amazon, whose Azure AI and Bedrock Agents, respectively, are gaining wide usage from enterprise clients.
For Hedera developers, the partnership will give them access to structured AI learning paths that walk them from introduction to enterprise deployment. While AI adoption has been championed by retail users, enterprise clients have become the main revenue source for AI companies, with enterprise revenue surpassing retail two years ago. Some studies show that less than 5% of retail users pay for their AI subscriptions.
We are working with Google's GEAR programme (Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready) for our 🇸🇬 Build with AI series.
What that means for you:
– Structured AI learning paths from intro to enterprise deployment
– 35 monthly learning credits on Google Skills for hands-on labs
– Access to…— Hedera for Developers (@hedera_devs) March 24, 2026
Hedera builders will also earn 35 monthly learning credits on Google Skills for hands-on training. Google Skills is the company’s unified learning platform that brings together over 3,000 courses from Google Cloud, Google for Education, and Grow With Google.
The partnership also allows developers to apply for Google’s Get program, an intense 9-week instructor-led training program. Graduates can get certification paths towards becoming cloud engineers, data engineers and machine-learning engineers.
Lastly, developers can connect with Google experts through the partnership.
Hedera’s Growing Focus on AI Developers
Hedera’s Build with AI program gives its members hands-on sessions where they build real applications using AI coding agents. The next event will be on Tuesday, March 31, at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Developers who attend will learn how to set up AI coding agent workflows for real development, design skills and documentation that agents can act on, and point these agents at production SDKs. The network states:
This isn’t a lecture. You’ll build. The apps run on Hedera, a production blockchain network. The AI skills you learn transfer to any development workflow – blockchain optional.
In April, the network will organize another event at the London School of Economics. During the day, the event will feature panel discussions by industry experts on the future of AI, and overnight, conduct a hackathon with a prize pool of $10,000.
Google and Hedera have been working together for a while now. The tech company is one of the members of the network’s governing council alongside other heavyweights like IBM, Dell, Hitachi, Ubisoft and Tata Communications. FedEx is the latest member, joining in February to advance digital supply chains, as CNF reported.
