- Galaxis has partnered with Chainlink CCIP to leverage its numerous benefits and features.
- Galaxis has already used Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to generate lucky draws, random distribution, etc.
Web3 platform Galaxis has announced to be leveraging the messaging functionality of Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to create a cross-chain digital membership card.
Chainlink BUILD member @Galaxisxyz has integrated Chainlink #CCIP across @ethereum and @0xPolygon.

The decision to settle on Chainlink is linked to its long-standing track record and achievement in providing the highest form of reliability and security in the Web3 ecosystem. To be specific, CCIP relies on a Risk Management Network, which adds a layer of security by monitoring and verifying cross-chain activities for any possible suspicious activities. This is very important as unreliable cross-chain infrastructures have been severely besieged by threat actors.
CEO of Galaxis Andras Kristof commented on this:
We’re excited to integrate the highly secure Chainlink CCIP to help enable cross-chain token-gated community spaces using Galaxis. Powered by the decentralized Chainlink Network, CCIP will help create a more seamless cross-chain experience for token-gated communities built on Galaxis.
Galaxis already has a close relationship with Chainlink as it is known to have used its Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to provide probably fair NFT reveals, giveaway cards, lucky draws, random distribution, etc. On top of this, Galaxis is also a staunch member of the Chainlink BUILD program.
More on Galaxis and Chainlink
The company admits that its vouch for Chainlink’s CCIP among the other solutions was due to the several benefits and features it provides. One of them is its scalable architecture. This feature presents a time-efficient process for chain-specific integration as the need to write custom codes is eliminated. With this, users can interact with different blockchains using the same interface. Another benefit of CCIP is its time-tested security and reliability. Others are seamless integration, and future-proof.
Galaxis is known to enable users with incredible, and dynamic digital membership cards for the community. Using the platform, users can create a token-gated community that has its marketplace. In addition, there could be engagement tools such as sticker books. This called for the need to obtain a highly secure and reliable interoperability solution.
In the press release, the company explained how it is using the CCIP.
The journey for every community owner starts on the Ethereum mainnet, where they submit their Galaxis Launchkey. Galaxis submits an on-chain command via CCIP to create the community on the community owner’s preferred destination chain in a single transaction. CCIP also allows Galaxis users to move tokens between supported chains.
The CCIP was created as an open-source standard solution that enables a smooth exchange of data packets between smart contracts on different blockchain networks. It is designed for developers to easily build cross-chain applications without the need to understand the technicalities and complexities of the underlying protocol.
On June 6, 2023, Swift announced that it is testing the CCIP as a solution to the current interoperability problems within the blockchain ecosystem.
The growing adoption is yet to reflect in the price of LINK. The asset is currently down by 11 percent in the last seven days and 88 percent from its all-time high price of $52. As of press time, LINK was trading at $6.19.
