  • ChromaWay continues collaboration with the EU, enhancing blockchain solutions for sustainability through the EBSI project.
  • Upcoming workshop in Brussels to plan Q4 2024 and 2025 strategies, aligning with new European Blockchain Association initiatives.

ChromaWay has recommenced its partnership with the European Union to develop blockchain solutions focused on sustainability. This collaboration is part of the EU’s European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) project and has recently been reviewed in Brussels, where ChromaWay’s contributions were well-received.

RBN Eco, a specialized division of the company, focuses on developing decentralized applications for Digital Product Passports and Intellectual Property Rights. Utilizing ChromaWay’s advanced relational blockchain technology, RBN Eco significantly enhances how data is organized and managed on the blockchain.

This approach not only optimizes efficiency and data security but also sets a new standard for integrating legal technologies and product identification on decentralized platforms, marking a significant advancement in the evolution of digital rights management and product certification.

“By fostering collaboration among governments, regulators, institutions, and blockchain innovators, we can unlock the full potential of Web3 technology and drive widespread adoption.”

This same technology underpins Chromia, a public Layer-1 platform scheduled to launch its mainnet on July 16th. This innovative approach aims to streamline blockchain data handling, enhancing the overall functionality and application of blockchain technology in various sectors.

The EU evaluators praised the relational blockchain for its potential to significantly impact both private and public sectors. The success of ChromaWay in this collaborative effort with the EU underscores the practical utility and innovative capabilities of relational blockchain technology in real-world applications.

As the project moves into the commercialization phase, ChromaWay has started dialogues with prospective clients in the battery and textile industries. These discussions are driven by the impending Ecodesign legislation, slated for 2027, which is pushing companies to integrate Web3 technologies to revitalize customer interactions and promote the circular economy.

In the coming months, RBN Eco and ChromaWay will engage further with the European Blockchain Association to align their developments with new initiatives. They are also scheduled to participate in a workshop in Brussels this September to outline their strategies for the fourth quarter of 2024 and the following year.
