  • VeChain has called decentralized applications (Dapps) developers from within its community and other chains to test these new tools and share feedback and recommendations.
  • The first result of VeChain and Electi’s collaboration went live on Friday, 24 March, as a Hardhat plugin and library.

VeChain (VET), a layer 1 (L1) smart contract-focused chain that solves real-world problems with blockchain technology, has continued to confidently develop its ecosystem amid the cryptocurrency bear market in preparation for a near future bull rally. Moreover, most crypto assets are anticipated to revisit their ATH within the next two years. As a result, VeChain (VET) has made significant partnerships to enable blockchain interoperability amid the rising global adoption of digital assets.

Early September last year, VeChain Foundation and Electi Consulting announced a strategic partnership to focus on creating new software tools and developer libraries that enhance the existing features of Vechain.

By developing new libraries that help improve the overall performance and scalability of the VeChain platform, the partnership was designed to last long in the market. Moreover, VeChain is a versatile layer 1 blockchain with a vibrant community of developers seeking to enhance the real-world growth of businesses at all levels.

VeChain and Electi Consulting Announce the Hardhat plugin and library

The seamless deployment of decentralized applications (Dapps) is largely dependent on the development environment used by the coders. Moreover, integrated development environments significantly impact the developer’s mindset with the ability to build and debug source code with rich libraries.  As a result, the first result of VeChain and Electi’s collaboration went live on Friday, 24 March, in the form of a Hardhat plugin and library.

With the Hardhar plugin and library ready for market adoption, VeChain anticipates onboarding more interoperable Dapps on its ecosystem. Moreover, Ethereum is the largest smart contract network with over $30 billion in total value locked (TVL).

According to the VeChain announcement, the launch of the Hardhat plugin marks the first of multiple releases designed to bolster its developer environment and provide greater alignment with popular Ethereum tooling. VeChain noted in a medium blog post.

Interoperability is essential for our future plans — aligning with Ethereum’s technical standards is an important step for ensuring the greatest level of cross-chain compatibility and offers a familiar environment for blockchain developers looking to build on VechainThor.

Other upcoming releases through the VeChain and Electi’s partnership include an Open Zeppelin smart contract compatibility report, the Truffle tool suite for injecting smart contracts into web apps and front-end applications as well as the Remix Integrated Development Environment (IDE), allowing builders to edit, compile, test and deploy ERC-compatible smart contracts to VechainThor, all fully compatible with VeWorld, vechain’s new official Web Wallet.

Forward, the VeChain Foundation has called on decentralized applications (Dapps) developers from within its community and other chains to test these new tools and share feedback and recommendations.
