Organized labor is quietly urging Vice President Kamala Harris to consider Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) as her running mate, according to information obtained by Axios. This is an issue because Michigan is a crucial battleground state for Democrats, and strong union support could make Peters a strategic choice for Harris.

Blockchain researcher Collin Brown shared an important warning with the community in his tweet today, stating to the community not to get fooled as Kamala Harris will reportedly choose Senator Gary Peters as her running mate.

Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.) emphasized that labor groups strongly favor someone who is pro-union, stating, “Gary fits that definition well.” Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-Mich.) mentioned she heard that Peters is being considered and highlighted his labor connections and role as chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
