Bluzelle, the Cosmos-based GameFi blockchain, has just launched a new NFT marketplace called Capella to facilitate Web3 games powered by the blockchain. Capella’s efficient support for NFTs and SFTs is part of its mission to deliver an unparalleled user experience and greater utility for gamers. Bluzelle hopes to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure solutions to propel GameFi and NFTs into the future in light of the recent surge in activity on the Cosmos and IBC Chains.

One major problem with Cosmos-based NFT marketplaces is that they need to support semi-fungible tokens (SFT), used increasingly in Web3 games. The value of virtual game assets and their secondary market liquidity is thus minimal. However, Bluzelle has introduced IBC-enabled capabilities with Capella, making buying and selling tokens, NFTs, and gaming assets possible through a unified interface.

Capella to integrate Bluezelle’s R2 blockchain storage

Capella will also use Bluzelle’s R2, a decentralized storage solution that allows developers to safely store their game assets. The developers will be able to use Capella for all their storage and token needs without transferring NFTs between chains. As a result, both the developer and user experiences will improve.

Capella is still under development, and the team is using Bluzelle’s first Web3 game, Gamma4, to put it through its paces. The NFT Marketplace will develop more as the team works to improve the NFT and GameFi features seen on Cosmos. Bluzelle’s CEO, Pavel Bains, said, “We had the experience to build what developers and gamers needed. One product with the right features, truly decentralized storage, and fluidity with other Cosmos chains.”

Bluzelle’s Capella NFT Marketplace will change the face of the gaming industry by making it simple to buy, sell, and trade NFTs and gaming memorabilia within the Cosmos ecosystem. Supporting both NFTs and SFTs while providing a best-in-class user experience, the marketplace uses IBC-enabled features to overcome the obstacles encountered by Cosmos-based NFT marketplaces. Because of this, Capella will become the premier NFT Marketplace for Web3 games, providing an improved experience for both developers and players.

The Bluzelle blockchain network can handle the heavy traffic and activity of the gaming industry, making it a scalable option for players and developers alike. Network features include an NFT storage layer, proprietary crypto games, and impressive 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) blockchain at its core.
