On February 20, Stellar revealed that it was shifting the rollout for its “Protocol 20” upgrade by three weeks after a bug was discovered. This upgrade has been described as the “new era for the Stellar smart contracts tech stack.” It will add Ethereum-style smart contracts to Stellar. 

However, the Stellar dev team first has to fix the bug and stress-test the network before dApps can be deployed.
