As the first SOL ETF gets, reportedly, approved by Brazil’s Securities and Exchange Commission and its potential effect of the US-based SOL ETF approval, experts are speculating on the potential surge of the Solana ecosystem in this quarter.

Currently, Solana’s position resembles Ethereum in its early days, making it logical for major Web3 entities to strengthen their support of the ecosystem during this critical period.

Bitget has just announced the launch of a hackathon in collaboration with Solana in Vietnam, offering a $30,000 prize pool for projects working on their proof-of-concept, MVP, and use cases.

All participating projects will have the opportunity to tap into Bitget’s 30 million user base, receive full support from Solana Superteam Vietnam, and pitch to major VCs like Foresight Ventures.

There is only one simple eligibility criterion: projects must be built on the Solana blockchain and integrate Bitget Wallet into their wallet extensions to be accepted into the program.

“This is the first time Bitget has organized a hackathon in Vietnam to support the growing developer ecosystem in the region. Our commitment to spreading blockchain awareness is deeply aligned with Bitget’s overarching Blockchain4Youth initiative. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of local creators and developers. We look forward to projects building in the Solana ecosystem and are excited to support the thriving blockchain industry in Vietnam,” said Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget.

Many analysts believe that Solana is on the brink of a breakthrough, and today’s successful SOL projects could potentially dominate the market in the future.
