• Bitcoin and the altcoins Internet Computer, Ripple, UniLayer, Chainlink and Flow are about to pump according to Altcoin Daily YouTube.
• Bitcoin is the “loudest monetary fire alarm” right now while the five altcoins are experiencing major ecosystem developments.

Altcoin Daily, a crypto YouTube channel, has indicated that Bitcoin and other top-five altcoins are ready to burst and set new all-time highs soon. Notably, the channel noted five altcoins that are also “about to go crazy” including Internet Computer (ICP), Ripple (XRP), UniLayer (LAYER), Chainlink (LINK), and Flow (FLOW).

Citing renowned gold bug Lawrence Leopard, Altcoin Daily says now is the biggest buying opportunity for Bitcoin. Leopard, a self-proclaimed Bitcoin proponent, says many in the gold business “don’t take the time to understand Bitcoin.” He also called the digital asset an “incredible innovation”, and the “loudest monetary fire alarm in the system right now”.

Additionally, the public ledger is immutable and free of manipulation by its “triple entry accounting”, he said. On the other hand, central banks have abused their control of gold which is why the asset is still not at an all-time high.

Major highlights by Altcoin Daily

As for the altcoins, Dfinity plans to launch Bitcoin smart contracts on Internet Computer by the end of the year. The move is part of a wider-scale industry initiative to make Bitcoin usable in DeFi and Web 3.0. At writing time, ICP, ranked 22nd by market cap was trading at $45.21.

Fourth on the Altcoin Daily’s list was Ripple. Ripple is still in regulatory troubles with the US regulator. Despite the heated lawsuit, optimism remains with the Ripple community following certain developments such as its CBDC solution application. Ripple also recently expanded to Thailand to aid local banks with transaction processing.

The third was the multi-chain platform UniLayer which provides a bigger decentralized trading experience. The latest big news from them is the upcoming launch of a new metaverse dubbed “Gaia”, On the day of the launch, UniLayer will airdrop GAIA tokens to all UniLayer holders. 

Chainlink (LINK) came next. Recently, the network announced integrating with decentralized cloud storage aggregator ColdStack. The blockchain oracle’s price feeds will now be available to the platform’s users, enabling them to acquire the most cost-efficient decentralized storage options.

The number one coin in Altcoin Daily’s list was Dapper Labs’ Flow Blockchain. Just this week, the firm closed a $250 million funding round, valuing the company at $7.6B. The firm, which is behind NBA Top Shot, also entered into a partnership with Spain’s top soccer league, LaLiga. The latter will be used to launch a soccer NFT Marketplace while the funding round will expand NBA Top Shot operations. FLOW, the 94th largest by market cap, was trading at $16.46, down 7.7 percent in the day, at writing time.
