BIT mining limited, a world-leading publicly traded cryptocurrency mining enterprise has rolled out a major component that is designed to serve two major cryptocurrencies in the market.
Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC) are two altcoins that will greatly benefit from the mining giant’s latest technology. According to the official announcement, BIT Mining has unveiled its latest mining machine dubbed model LD4.
The model is part of the mining giant’s LD series of ASIC mining machines, all of which were developed by BTCM for the sole purpose of carrying out mining operations on the Dogecoin and Litecoin blockchain network, with peak hashrate and energy efficiency.
After continuous testing and trials carried out extensively for the LD4, enough feedback has been gathered and implemented in the development process, which has resulted in the creation of superior hardware. LD4 is now the third ASIC mining machine that was developed by the mining firm, following its acquisition of mining hardware manufacturer Bee Computing in 2022.
The new model is a significant upgrade from the previous LD3 model. Unlike the LD3 model which only saw its power efficiency cap at 0.73 W/MH, the LD4 has a new record in power efficiency which is currently at 0.71 W/MH. Similarly, LD4’s have a peak output reach of 5 Gigahertz per second, which beats the 4800 MH/s
achieved by LD3, by a large margin.
LD4s hold the title as the best machine on the market for Dogecoin and Litecoin
With all of its features and the increase in mining efficiency, LD4 is the best machine currently available on the market for both Litecoin and Dogecoin. The announcement further revealed;
LD4’s reliable design features excellent heat dissipation, which enables its computing chip to frequently work at lower temperatures during long-term, consistent operations, and in turn extends LD4’s lifecycle. The security features of LD4 have been further enhanced and refined over the previous generation. Every LD4 is built with not only hardware-level security protection but also high-level security software incorporating the latest Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures (CVE) vulnerability patches to guard against known weaknesses.
