  • Binance’s luxury fragrance, Crypto, symbolizes the empowerment of women in the blockchain ecosystem.
  • Binance incentivizes women’s education in crypto with rewards, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and participation.

Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has introduced a luxury fragrance named Crypto. This initiative, announced on March 6 by Binance’s female marketing leaders, is part of a broader effort to draw more women into the blockchain ecosystem.

The launch strategically aligns with International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8, underlining the company’s commitment to gender inclusivity within the crypto space.

Breaking Barriers with “Crypto is Yours”

The Crypto fragrance is not merely a product; it is the centerpiece of Binance’s inclusivity campaign titled “Crypto is Yours.” Drawing inspiration from traditional beauty advertising, the campaign seeks to challenge the norms of the crypto industry by portraying the fragrance as a symbol of empowerment and participation for women.

Rachel Conlan, Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the significant yet often overlooked contributions of women in the crypto space. She encouraged women not to remain bystanders but to break glass ceilings and challenge existing narratives.

More Than Just a Scent

Conlan’s message is clear: the Crypto fragrance is more than just a scent; it’s a call to action for women to play a significant role in the ongoing digital transformation of global finance. This initiative underscores the idea that the crypto revolution is not limited to any gender and that everyone should have the opportunity to participate and contribute.

Empowering Women Through Education

As part of its initiative to encourage more women to explore the crypto industry, Binance has also announced an educational incentive. The first 5,000 women to complete one of Binance’s beginner crypto courses will be rewarded with $25 in Tether. This move not only seeks to educate but also to financially empower women to take their first steps in the crypto world.

Binance’s initiative is a reflection of a broader industry movement towards inclusivity. In January, Bitget, another cryptocurrency exchange, announced the Blockchain4Her initiative, committing $10 million to support women-led Web3 startups.

On the other hand, Binance CEO was summoned by Nigerian authorities over alleged financial crimes, as the exchange faces a staggering $10 billion fine, as formerly reported by Crypto News Flash.
