  • BantGo and Verofax announce a strategic partnership to sustain the environment by rewarding the recycling of electronic products.
  • BantGo has engaged in several partnership agreements including a collaboration with the Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA) to realize its mission.

New use cases triggered on VeChain as  BantGo and Verofax announce a partnership agreement to enable people to recycle old electronic equipment. BantGo is a UAE-based new startup that offers rewards for recycling. Verofax is another UAE-based blockchain traceability company.

The partnership is meant to produce a project to ensure that users who recycle their electronic products get physical and digital rewards. According to the official release, the rewards would be in the form of NFTs via impact2earn scheme.

A built-in validation system has been designed to enable a smooth service delivery. On top of that, a digital blockchain certificate would be given to recyclers.

More on the Collaboration

A built-in validation system’ assesses the state of the electronic device and what recoverable materials it will yield. Perhaps the bins might need to be in a secure location because that kind of validation requires a built-in smartphone preloaded with AI to identify the state of the item.

BantGo recently participated in a RawMaterials Accelerator program backed by the European Union. The program also included grants.

It is worth noting that the program of using tokens to incentivize recycling is not a new initiative. In 2019, a ‘Blockchain Challenge’ was organized by the Catalan Ministry for Digital Policy and Public Administration to commit financial rewards to participants who presented “solutions to track, monitor and encourage selective waste collection (recycling).” This hackathon was part of the plans to promote the Blockchain Strategy of Catalonia.

Jordi Puigneró, the then minister for Digital Policy and Public Administration commended the teams for:

having contributed your effort and talent to show that technology is a huge ally in tackling the future challenges posed by the digital society and improving the services that the government provides to its citizens.

German Deposy project from BIOTA similarly launched a DLT/IoT solution to promote the collection of plastic waste.

BantGo Expanding Through Partnerships

Earlier this month, another partnership agreement was announced between BantGo and Eco Way Holding, a leading CO2-free electric vehicle (EV) solution for the food and parcel delivery industry. The plan was to promote sustainability and innovation in deliveries while realizing its objective of revolutionizing e-waste recycling.

Some of the initiatives of this partnership was the integration of Impact2Earn into the delivery. In addition to that, they planned to enable battery replacement points as e-waste collection spots, and also mint Impact2Earn NFTs.

Siarhei Zhyltsou, Founder and CEO at BantGo commented:

Partnering with ECO WAY HOLDING aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Together, we are pioneering a sustainable future for last-mile delivery while driving positive change in recycling.

The company is also in partnership with the Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA) to accelerate the realization of its mission and expand its presence in several important markets including Finland, Poland, Estonia, and the U.S.

According to Zhyltsou, the partnership demonstrates their shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and responsible business practices while ensuring that there is a drastic change in the recycling business.
